Legal Notice & Privacy Policy

Privacy policy

This policy applies to data processing carried out through the website https://pandv.hu and has been prepared in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on informational self-determination.

1. Data controller

2. Data processed, purposes and legal basis

Quote requests (contact form and email):

Data processedname, email address, the content of your message, and any files you voluntarily attach, including the data they contain
Purposepreparing a quote, communication, and the preparation and performance of the assignment
Legal basisArticle 6(1)(b) GDPR – steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract
Retentionif no assignment results from the enquiry, the data are deleted within 1 year of the request at the latest; in the case of an assignment, contractual and invoicing data are retained for the period required by accounting and tax law (typically 8 years)

Documents submitted for translation: attached files may contain special categories of data (e.g. medical or legal documents). These are processed exclusively for the purpose of quoting and performing the translation assignment, under strict confidentiality, and are not disclosed to third parties other than the translators and reviewers involved in the assignment, all of whom are bound by confidentiality obligations.

3. Processors and recipients

We do not transfer data to third countries and do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Cookies

The website does not use tracking or marketing cookies and does not employ any web analytics service.

5. Data security

Data are accessible only to authorised staff. File handling is controlled and communication is traceable; email and the website are accessed via encrypted connections (HTTPS).

6. Your rights

You may at any time request access to your personal data, their rectification, erasure or the restriction of processing; you also have the right to data portability and, where processing is based on legitimate interest, the right to object. Requests can be submitted to iroda@pandv.hu and will be answered within one month at the latest.

7. Remedies

If you believe the processing of your data infringes the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH; 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11.; postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9.; ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu; www.naih.hu) or bring the matter before a court.
